misc ==> Anvil ==> Straightening Chuck Key

UpUp

This Jacobs K5 chuck key was bent into a pretzel shape. I used an O/A torch to heat up the bent part, and my anvil to straighten it. It took quite a while. It was very time consuming and, without counting cost of gas, I probably made $2 per hour fixing it. It was quite educational, however, to discover how metal becomes so malleable when heated.
