This is a 12 ton rated Famco 4C arbor press. It can be used in simple ratcheting mode, or in compound ratcheting mode (hence the letter C) in 4C.
It had only one thing that needed fixing. The handle that is used to position the ram was broke. The cast iron hub had ugly remnants of cast spokes on it, and had a sloppy looking steel bar screwed on as a handle. It turned the hub on the lathe to remove the spoke remnants, and attached a spare star handle that I had for better appearance.
Per Famco Arbor Press Catalog, Famco 4C is capable of 12 tons of pressure, is 35 inches high, and has 19 1/4 inch capacity over plate. Maximum 18 inch work diameter.
